This month for the Black Belt Sessions, we will be revising kata 'Jiuroku'. For those who are not familiar or forgotten this kata, kindly join us on the Sunday Black Belt Session from 5pm to 6pm at Tanglin Community Club.

Old photograph to share

Recently I found this very old photograph from one of my albums. I used Photoshop CS2 enhanced it a bit. In this photograph, you will see Shitoryu Grandmaster Soke Ken-ei Mabuni, Shitoryu Karate Association Chief Instructor Shihan Wong T.S., Shinwa Kai Chief Instructor Shihan Richard Ng and myself in it. That time we were pretty young then. We were representing Singapore to compete in the 3rd World Karate-do Championship in Los Angeles, USA.

Time really flies!

Intermediate Sai Kata Workshop Finalised info

The Intermediate Sai Kata Workshop is finalized. Interested parties please contact Shihan via email to register (email address: ckf567@gmail.com). The Workshop is limited to 40 vacancies only. Karatekas must be in Dojo Gi during the session. Non karatekas should be in tee shirt and track pants. Registration after 20th April 2008 would not be entertained. All registration is valid only full payment is made.
